On June 16th + 17th, I presented an initial scene from Model Killer: Giant Crimes & Tiny Cover-Ups, as an artist-in-residence at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center at the culmination of the National Puppetry Conference. Model Killer is a morbid comedy centered on Vivian Nutt, a disgruntled dollhouse maker turned investigator. Vivian builds dioramas of unsolved murders, only for it to be revealed that she is a serial killer. In Model Killer, I am creating a universe in which I invite the viewer to reconsider female serial killers, the historically feminine craft of miniatures, and murder as entertainment.
On April 20th, 2017, American Theatre, a publication of Theatre Communications Group announced the 2017 season at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, including my artist-in-residence at the National Puppetry Conference. The artist-in-residence was for Model Killer: Giant Crimes & Tiny Cover-Ups, a morbid comedy centered on Vivian Nutt, a disgruntled dollhouse maker turned investigator.
On September 2nd, 2016, I finished my tenure at the Puppet Slam Network (PSN), which I co-founded in 2005 with Heather Henson and through support from her production company, Ibex Puppetry. As PSN coordinator for just over a decade, my work focused on cataloguing, connecting, supporting, and generating awareness for evenings of short-form puppetry for adults.
On December 11 , 2015, Season 2 of Transparent was released on Amazon Prime. In episode 8 Oscilate, I was a background performer in a yoga class at the LGBT center doing sun salutations alongside Alexandra Billings. In the scene, Maura Pfefferman (Jeffrey Tambor) who is at an interview for a suicide hotline, looks into the window of a the class and spots Davina (Alexandra Billings), her best trans friend, who she’s been feuding with.
On October 26th, 2015, I performed in Puppet Up! Uncensored for a special private viewing of friends and family on the Charlie Chaplin Sound Stage at the Jim Henson Company Lot in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
On June 12th and 13th, 2015, I performed The Feeder, a short solo tabletop puppetry piece that explores the unintended consequences of a complicated relationship. The narrative is centered on the surviving partner of a gainer and feeder couple, who is on the run after accidentally feeding his spouse to death. On June 3rd, 2014, I was awarded funding from the Anna Sosenko Assist Trust for the Los Angeles workshops of Object of Her Affection at Automata and at REDCAT for the New Original Works Festival. Object of Her Affection is a solo puppetry and object performance art piece centered on a woman, who in her search for true love develops intimate relationships with inanimate objects. The funds from the Anna Sosenko Assist Trust went towards developing the sound design and music.
On March 28th, 2014, Julie Brown’s Homecoming Queen’s Got a Musical, a musical-theatre show based on her 1983 music video, Homecoming Queen’s Got a Gun) opened for a 2nd run at the Cavern Club at Casita del Campo in Silverlake, Los Angeles. For Homecoming Queen, I made a humanette puppet used by Drew Droege as Debbie Dickey, the homecoming queen. I also performed an assortment of characters.

On March 6th, 2014, I was a visiting artist at the Los Angeles LGBT Center to teach a workshop on puppetry and performing objects at sparQ!, an activist theatre mentoring program produced by LifeWorks. On February 9th, 2014, I performed Ashes to Ashes, Rust to Rust, an excerpt from Object of Her Affection at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. In Ashes to Ashes, Rust to Rust, a woman who desires intimate relationships with inanimate objects discovers that the bridge she has come to love has been cheating on her.
