In April 2007, I puppeteered on The Circus, an eBaysodeTM (a pitch for eBay that featured toy theatre puppetry and object performance). I was brought on by production designer, Courtney Tuesday Yates and puppeteered with Laurie O’Brien, Kate Brown, and Eli Presser, who served as lead puppeteer. The shoot took place in Chinatown, Los Angeles.

Beyond the Beyond, Los Angeles (performer, puppeteer, dramaturg)
In April 12th, 2007 Beyond the Beyond: The Gay Futureworld, in which I was a performer and puppeteer was presented by Cornerstone at the Lilly Tomilin/ Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center, part of the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Directed by Paul Zaloom, Beyond the Beyond was a wild, episodic sci-fi romp through the next 1000 years of humanity that explored civil rights, queer history and the queer world of the future through personal stories gathered, scripted, workshopped and performed by GLBT youth, seniors and professional artists.

On February 10th, 2007, I screened my short puppet film, Jackson’s Private Zoo at The California Institute for Abnormal Arts in North Hollywood, Angeles. The screening was part of the Festival of Mirth – The Love Show – an evening of puppet shows, circus acts, and music, curated by Satanica. For this screening, I performed the live soundtrack with Kate Elouise Mallor.

On March 9th, 2006 I launched Puppetslam.com, a website that cataloged, connected, supported, and generated awareness for adult evenings of short-form puppetry and what would evolve into the Puppet Slam Network over the next decade.
