Object/Fetish, Baltimore (artist talk)

On  April 30, 2011, I presented my multimedia artist talk, Object/Fetish: Staging the Suspension of Disbelief  at a salon/art party in the H&H Arts Building in Baltimore as part of the Transmodern Festival. The artist talk was co-sponsored by the Maryland Institue College of Art’s Fiber, Sculpture and Humanistic Studies Departments.

Object/Fetish, Calgary (Talk)

On March 13th, 2011 at 9:00PM, I presented my multi-media artist-talk, Object/Fetish: Staging the Suspension of Disbelief in Every Day Life at Club Sapien, a short-lived inclusive queer nightclub known for its community outrech in Calgary. My presentation of Object/Fetish was made in conjunction with the Calgary Animated Object Society (CAOS) and their International Festival of Animated Objects.

On November 18th, 2010, I was a guest teacher for Susan Simpson’s History of American Puppet Theater course at CalArts through the Cotsen Center for Puppetry and the Arts.
