Not Alone, Brooklyn (puppets on film)

On October 26th, 2013, Trish Sie’s short film – Not Alone,  which I puppeteered in, had it’s premiere at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Not Alone, the official music video for Ben Taylor’s song, follows a lonely sock who searches everywhere for a soulmate.

That EFFN Show (puppet + doll design)

I designed and fabricated an operational ventriloquist dummy and a doll for the sports comedy reality pilot, That EFFN Show, shot on September 15th, 2013. The ventriloquist dummy was supposed to be in the likeness of  Peyton Manning as Frankenstein, while the prop doll was made to resemble, one of the hosts, comedian Sean O’Conner in the style of Chuckie, the protagonist from the Child’s Play franchise. The Gunman, Brooklyn (screening)

On Thursday, July 18th, 2013 at 7:00PM, my ultra-short puppet animation film, “The Gunman” was screened at Standard ToyKraft as part of “Summer Cinema Presents: Glen or Glenda”. The pre-show line up (curated by Jessica Scott) also included films by Daphne Gardner, Beau Brown and Trey Kirchoff.  I animated “The Gunman” in 2007 using found objects, figurines, and toys, with drawings by Katie Shook, and assistance from Laura Heit and Dillon Markey.
