Off the Map, Chicago (appearance)

On the weekend of January 12th – 14th, 2007, I was in Chicago, to introduce and promote Handmade Puppet Dreams Volume 2 at Links Hall in Chicago. The screening was part of program 2 of Off the Map and Into the Murk: Spelunking into Puppetry, a 4-week puppet themed performance and film series curated by Barbara Whitney that ran from January 5th-28th, 2007.

Feast of Fools #395 – Life on Marsian, Chicago (appearance)

On September September 25, 2006, I was a guest on Feast of Fools #395 – Life on Marsian. Feast of Fools which later became Feast of Fun, is a Chicago-based LGBTQ comedy podcast hosted by Fausto Fernós and Marc Felion that showcases celebrity guests, artists, musicians, actors, and members of the LGBT community and those who support them.  This particular show was recorded over the phone on the Valencia Campus of CalArts shortly after I arrived there for my MFA degree.

Kate Bornstein, Feast of Fun (podcast)

On September 18th, 2006, Kate Bornstein appeared on the Chicago-based LGBTQ comedy podcast, Feast of Fun Podcast #390 – A Fate Better Than Death,  to discuss their book, Hello Cruel World: 101 Alternatives to Suicide for Teens, Freaks and Other Outlaws. In talking with Fausto Ferños and Marc Felion, they briefly discussed my performance work.
