On Friday, August 8th, 2008  Growing Up Linda premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Growing Up Linda was an ensemble actor-puppetry performance that looked at the off-kilter world of the daughter of a famous ice cream mogul. During its run in 2008 at the Edinburgh Fringe, The Scotsman distinguished Growing Up Linda as “colorful, elaborate” and“nightmarish”. Three Weeks (Edinburgh) characterized Linda as “kitsch, camp, and often grotesque”, and celebrated it for itsfusion of trashy and glam”. There were a total of nine performances over the course of ten days.
