Maybe my first exposure was the Muppets… But even before that, there were like baby dolls. I loved playing with dolls. I would always play with my sister’s dolls. Sometimes I’d rip the legs off, cause I was upset that I couldn’t have them. In fourth grade, we had to give some kind of report on Egypt and I just loved like shaving off Barbie’s hair and pretending I was pulling her brain out through her nose, and then like mummifying her and putting her in a sarcophagus. There’s something about that.
