Model Killer, Work-in-Progress Viewing (Los Angeles)

On Sunday, March 31st, 2019 I presented an open rehearsal of Model Killer: Giant Crimes + Tiny Cover-Ups at Automata as part of a Development + Research Residency.

Model Killer is a morbid comedy centered on a disgruntled dollhouse maker turned investigator. Vivian Nutt builds dioramas of unsolved murders, only for it to be revealed that she is in fact, a serial killer.   In Model Killer, I am constructing a universe in which I invite the viewer to reconsider female serial killers, the historically feminine craft of miniatures, and murder as entertainment.

The D + R Residency was offered collaboratively by Los Angeles Performance Practice and Automata, and supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts

While admission is free, reservations are encouraged.
