Model Killer, Work-in-Progress Viewing (Los Angeles)

Join me at Automata on Sunday, March 31st at 4PM for an open rehearsal of Model Killer: Giant Crimes + Tiny Cover-Ups at Automata as part of a Development + Research Residency. While admission is free, reservations are encouraged.

Model Killer is a morbid comedy centered on a disgruntled dollhouse maker turned investigator. Vivian Nutt builds dioramas of unsolved murders, only for it to be revealed that she is in fact, a serial killer.   In Model Killer, I am creating a universe in which I invite the viewer to reconsider female serial killers, the historically feminine craft of miniatures, and murder as entertainment.

Automata is located at
504 Chung King Court
in the Chinatown Arts district of Los Angeles.

There is free metered street parking on Sunday afternoons on Broadway, Hill St, College St + Yale St.  There is also a paid lot,  King Valet Parking, located at 983 N Hill St, LA, which is accessible when exiting the 110N or 110S at Hill St.

The D + R Residency is offered collaboratively by Los Angeles Performance Practice and Automata, and supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts
