In July 1993, I became the Youth Outreach Coordinator for the Coalition for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights. As Youth Outreach coordinator, I advocated for anti-discrimination legislation protecting LGBTQ students in Massachusetts public schools through organizing letter writing campaigns, rallies at the state house, lobbying days, public speaking and working with the media. I served on the Coalition until August 1994.
